Borough Blues Club Summer Festival - Saturday 7th June 2008

Every comment that we've heard indicates that although it was pretty hard work for some our first Summer Blues Festival was a hugh success.

Our objectives were to raise awareness of the club, for us to at least break even, to give the New Panteg RFC an opportunity of raising money and for everyone to have a good time.

Feedback indicates that we exceeded each one of those objectives.

Thanks to the kindness of the weather, the excellent cooperation of the RFC's Event & Borough Blues Club Committees, the hard work of Dave Lewis for organising the bands (including our own excellent Workshop Band) and Keith & Pat Barwood for organising practically everything else we can look forward to a bigger better event next year.

Upton upon Severn Blues Festival - Saturday 19th July 2008

We are organising a bus trip to Upton upon Severn Blues Festival on 19th July. The cost of the trip is £12 and that inclusdes a ticket for the August club gig for our members. This is a superb day out with many band playing at various pubs and stages throughout the town - all gigs are FREE!
